The Florence Family YMCA is offering Summer Day Camp June 4th- August 10th, with all the special activities that make summer fun!  This camp is for children entering K-5 thru 6th grade.  Hours are from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Camp runs all summer long in weekly sessions. You can choose to come all summer or select certain weeks.

Session 1 Weekday swim lessons / June 4 - 14
            (Monday through Thursday for 2 weeks)
Session A-Weekend swim lessons /June 9 - 30
            (lasts 4 weekends.)

The outdoor pool complete with slide and beach entry is now open on Saturday & Sunday afternoons.

Remember to bring your own towels.

Watch as your child's self-esteem soars and his/her ability blossoms during the Youth Summer Swim Club!  Children may want to start with PYSCES in the Winter/Spring months to get ready for the summer season.  Summer Practice will begin May 28th, 2012!!

On Wednesday, April 26th, the Y's long-time CEO, Jerry Dixon, resigned to take a similar position at the Y in Ashland, Kentucky.  We wish him well and thank him for his time and service to our Y and the community.

The Y Board of Directors took immediate action and named current Associate CEO, Brian New, Interim CEO.  He will transition his duties on June 1st.  A search will begin immeduately for a new CEO. 
A search committee will be formed to initate the steps required to hire a new CEO.
