Through the generosity of members and volunteers, corporate sponsors and other individuals, our 2008 Lend A Hand Campaign was a great success.  Over $36,000 was raised by volunteers so that no one is denied access to our facilities or programs due to the inability to pay.

Why should I give a gift to the Lend-A-Hand Campaign?
The YMCA is a charitable organization dedicated to building spirit, mind, and body in all people.  We bring communities together and provide opportunities for people to change their lives.  Contributions to the Annual Support Campaign make it possible for us to provide YMCA scholarships to those in need.

How much money goes directly to the YMCA and its programs?
Every dollar raised in the campaign stays at our local Y and is used in our programs.

How do people qualify for financial assistance?
Applying for aid is the first step.  Interested parties can fill out an application and a copy of their filed tax form to approve such assistance. 

Is financial assistance available for all YMCA programs?
All programs at the YMCA offer the opportunity to apply for financial assistance.
