Membership Benefits:
YMCA membership opens the door to many exciting family, individual and community programs that are designed to build spirit, mind and body.  You and your family will enjoy the benefits of YMCA membership through participation in a variety of fun and healthful activities - everything from aquatics to summer camp, from fitness programs to family nights.

Payment Options:

  1. Annual, 6-month or 3-month payment (cash, check or credit card)
  2. Monthly automatic bank draft - electronically deducts monthly dues from your checking or savings account on an ongoing, monthly basis.  Activation of your monthly bank draft requires:
    • Proration of the current month's dues
    • Completion of required bank draft form
    • Voided check from the account to be drafted
Important:  For any membership drafts not honored by the bank, the member is responsible for payment, bank service fee and service fee applied by the YMCA.   

Change of Information:
Changes in membership type, address or bank draft information require members to fill out a change form.  No changes can be made over the phone.

Termination:
A thirty (30) day written notice is required to terminate membership.  The YMCA requires no contracts.  You may terminate your membership at any time.  No cancellations can be made over the phone.  The YMCA reserves the right to revoke a membership for any action or behavior not in compliance with our Mission Statement and the values of character development (Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility).

Joining Fee:
The joining fee is a one-time fee paid when you begin your YMCA membership.  The joining fee will be waived only if you have cancelled and rejoined within three months of the date you cancelled.  Joining fees are nonrefundable.

Youth Membership:
Member rates on all program fees except Child Care
Use of Youth Activity Center when accompanied by a YMCA member 18 years or older.  Parents or guardian will need to sign in/sign out their child(ren). 

Scholarship/Financial Need:
It is the policy of the Florence Family YMCA that no one be turned away from participation due to the inability to pay full program fees.  An application and filed tax form are necessary to approve such assistance.  See a staff member at the front desk.

Child Watch and Youth Activity Center:
We offer up to 2 hours free nursery service per visit for members while you work out for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years. Members must enroll in a family membership to take advantage of this service.

Holidays
Child Watch and the Youth Activity Center will be CLOSED on Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day.

AWAY Program (Always Welcome at the Y):
The Florence Family YMCA participates in the Away Program.  Members must show their membership card and picture ID and their YMCA will be called to make sure they are still active members. Away members can come in for no more than two weeks at a time per year. The YMCA has the right to limit guest usage during peak times.   If you will be traveling and would like a membership card, stop by the front desk to request one.
