Guest Policy:
Guests are welcome to visit and use our facilities within our established guidelines:

• A guest may visit twice per year
• A member can only bring one guest at a time
• A guest can only come with a member age 16 or older
• Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by members 18 or older
• Unescorted guests may not use the facility
• Guests may not pay a fee to use the facility
• YMCA members visiting from another location can use the YMCA for up to two weeks
• All guests over the age of 13 must have a picture ID.

Summer Guest Policy:
Regular guest policy applies with the following additional guidelines:

• Guests may visit with a member after 3pm on weekdays
• Guests may not visit on the weekends

Scholarship/Financial Need:
It is the policy of the Florence Family YMCA that no one be turned away from participation due to the inability to pay full program fees.  An application and filed tax form are necessary to approve such assistance.  See a staff member at the front desk.

Smoking Policy:
In keeping with the YMCA's health and fitness advocacy, smoking is not permitted in or around the YMCA facility.

Lost and Found:
The YMCA is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.  Please inquire at the front desk if you have lost a personal article.

Dress Code:
The YMCA is a family association requiring shirts and shoes throughout the building except the pool areas.  When in the Wellness Center, members must wear non-revealing appropriate exercise apparel.  Open toed shoes are not allowed.  Items of apparel that may damage upholstery are not allowed.  Vinyl or rubber suits designed to increase perspiration are prohibited.  Proper court shoes must be worn on playing surfaces in the gym and racquetball courts.

Class Cancellation Policy:
All classes and scheduled activities are based upon minimum enrollments and are subject to change.

Swimming Pools:
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a member 18 or older while in the pool for open swim. 

Youth Activity Center:
The YAC room provides an exciting environment with plenty of games and activities for children ages 6 to 11 years old.  The room is open and supervised by staff during specified hours.  Children must be signed in and out by a supervising member.

Children Supervision Policy:
Children under the age of 12 should be with a supervising member at all times except when they are participating in a program.  Youth 12 and older have use of the facility except for the adult locker rooms, whirlpool and use of the Wellness Center as stipulated by the Wellness Center rules.
