Hours - Saturday  12 Noon until 5 PM
           Sunday  2 - 5 PM

May 27 - June 7
Hours - Monday through Friday  3:30 - 7:30 PM

Summer hours begin June 10
Hours - Monday through Friday - 10 until 8 PM
               (Y Day Camp Kids swim 9 until 3 PM)
           Saturdays - 10 until 5:30 PM
           Sundays - 2 until 5:30 PM

Y Swim Lesson Curriculum

YMCA Swim Lessons begin with the development of basic swimming skills as well as gaining confidence and ease in the water. From there, swimmers refine the strokes they have learned and progress their skills. The lessons also include character development, family involvement and safety education components. There are three phases, beginning with Swim Starters (children 6-36 months), then Swim Basics and Swim Strokes.

2 Lifeguards, 1 pointing

Lifeguards are needed here at the Y!  Not Certified?  Classes start in May. Participants must be at least 16 years old and have excellent swimming skills. The class includes all books and YMCA of the USA National Certification for YMCA Lifeguard as well as American Heart and Safety Institute CPR Pro including AED, Oxygen Administration and First Aid required for certification.

The world is 71% water.  Your children are 100% curious. “Safety Around Water” is for children ages 5 to 14 who do not know how to swim and have not participated in swim lessons before. This session of 6 lessons consisting of water safety and basic swim instruction, including a t-shirt, only costs $5 per child!

A water experience camp for good swimmers who are interested in increasing their aquatic sports knowledge!  Participants will learn and experience a new water sport or skill each day, such as SCUBA and snorkeling, water polo, Jr. lifeguard skills, kayaking, safe boating and springboard diving. 

Kids ages 6 to 13 who swim well will learn basic synchronized swimming skills and perform a routine at the end of the week.

YMCA Fins Swim Team
A fun experience for children ages 6 to 16 who love to swim and want to become better at the sport.  Children will have a great time building endurance and swim skills while also spending time with their team mates.

Please familiarize yourself with our new safety swim test procedures. These rules apply to all children ages 11 and under for both the indoor and the outdoor pool.
