Summer Camps

Kids will have fun discovering their inner artist and express their creativity through pottery, painting and other mediums. Little artists will have a Pirates and Princesses Theme Week, while the older kids will have a Clemson/Carolina Rivalry Week. Camps will be led by Talitha Seeber.

Session 1: June 16-20 ages 5-10 from 1 PM - 3:30 PM
Session 2: July 21- 25 ages 3 & 4 from 1 PM - 3:30 PM 

Youth Golf Camp is designed to teach proper golf swing and technique, which includes full swing, half swing, and putting strokes.  Campers must have their own clubs.  The minimum club requirements to participate are a putter and pitching wedge.  Times are 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Please bring a snack and water.  Camp will be led by Brandon Jolly and Ryan Bell.

This multi-sports camp allows younger campers and their new friends to explore basketball, soccer, and baseball in a fun and safe YMCA environment!  Campers will develop self-confidence through activities that teach teamwork, sportsmanship and skill development.

At this camp, boys and girls ages 7-12 will learn the basic techniques of this dance. They will be taught moves, tricks and a dance by the conclusion of camp. Children should come prepared to work hard and have fun. Camp will be led by Drew Arnold, a dance team member for nine years of competition. She is also a current dance and Zumba instructor.

Kids Kayaking on a Lake

A water experience camp for good swimmers who are interested in increasing their aquatic sports knowledge!  Participants will learn and experience a new water sport or skill each day, such as SCUBA and snorkeling, water polo, Jr. lifeguarding skills, kayaking, safe boating and springboard diving.

2 Lifeguards, one pointing

Young teens will gain valuable skills and knowledge while learning future job skills in this camp.  Jr. pool guards will spend time in classroom and pool sessions, learning how to identify problems in an aquatic environment and help assist lifeguards in an emergency.

This camp will focus on skill development through individual and group drills.  Each camper needs to bring a water bottle and a snack.

A Group of Teens

It is time once again time to think about and prepare for summer camp. We will offer again an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain experience working with children. Our Counselors in Training program is targeted for rising 7th - 10th graders who have the ability and desire to work with children in our day camp program. This program is only for those who wish to become successful leaders within our community. Those wishing to be a part of our CIT program will have to complete an application and go through an interview process before being accepted into the program. Applicants who are accepted into our program will have to complete training and sign a behavioral contract in order to participate in the program. Deadline for applicants is April 30th.

The Florence Family YMCA offers a summer preschool day camp program with all the special activities that make summer fun! There will be a variety of weekly themes with corresponding activities to keep children active and busy throughout the day.  Dates are Monday, June 9th through Friday, August 15th.

The Florence Family YMCA is offering Summer Day Camp, with all the special activities that make summer fun! This camp is for children entering K-5 thru 6th grade. Hours are from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Camp runs all summer long in weekly sessions. You can choose to come all summer or select certain weeks.
