The world is 71% water.  Your children are 100% curious. “Safety Around Water” is for children ages 5 to 14 who do not know how to swim or have not participated in swim lessons before. This session of 6 lessons consisting of water safety and basic swim instruction, including a t-shirt, only costs $5 per child!

YMCA Swim Lessons begin with the development of basic swimming skills as well as gaining confidence and ease in the water. From there, swimmers refine the strokes they have learned and progress their skills. The lessons also include character development, family involvement and safety education components. There are three phases, beginning with Swim Starters (children 6-36 months), then Swim Basics followed by Swim Strokes.
