Two Boys Playing A Game

This school-age program offers an enriching environment with fun activities, specially designed to enhance the development and self-esteem of school age children.  The program is structured to address the interests and development levels of children in kindergarten through 6th grade (we will not be picking up from Moore this year).  Because the program is based on choices, children gain independence and have the freedom to learn more about what interests them. Contact Megan Patterson directly at 843.665.0226 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Boy with Fingerpaint

In addition to regular school year programming at the YMCA, we offer special programs for holidays and school vacations. Many parents who have standing child care arrangements during regular school sessions have special needs when school is out and their regular providers may not offer child care services. For those families, as well as our registered YMCA families, we offer holiday and vacation care during the Christmas Holiday and Spring Break (dates determined in conjunction with the Florence District 1 school calendar). Hours are 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Daily swimming as well as special events and field trips.

Spring Break Camp

During Spring Break the YMCA offers camp from 7am-6pm for 5K-6th grades. Care is also provided for 3K and 4K based on space availability (children must be fully potty trained). Daily activities along with swim times are offered. There will also be field trips. Registration begins November 1st for Winter Camp and registration begins March 1st for Spring Break Camp. Registration fee, activity fee, and weekly fee are due at the time of registration. We do not accept cash. Please bring a check, money order, credit card, or debit card along with your completed registration forms. For more information about any of these holiday and vacation care programs, contact Megan Patterson at 843.665.0226 for specific dates and prices.
