Two Boys Playing A Game

This school-age program offers an enriching environment with fun activities, specially designed to enhance the development and self-esteem of school age children.  The program is structured to address the interests and development levels of children in kindergarten through 6th grade (we will not be picking up from Moore this year).  Because the program is based on choices, children gain independence and have the freedom to learn more about what interests them. Contact Megan Patterson directly at 843.665.0226 or This email address is being protected from spambots. The after school program:

  • Encourages choices from a variety of fun, hands-on, age-appropriate activities
  • Features opportunities for socialization
  • Encourages sports and physical activities
  • Provides bus transportation from school.

Program activities include:  Brain teasers, cool science experiments, games, puzzles, computer challenges and writing...a great place to work on homework, too!  The hands-on activities are based on enriching academic programs, educationally based in thematic units, and fun to do!
Homework time is a scheduled part of our daily schedule.  While we offer guidance and assistance to children, we cannot provide independent tutoring needs.  Plenty of activities to burn off steam, shoot some hoops, swim all year, play a game with friends or just challenging themselves to do their personal best.  Opportunities to perform plays, play musical instruments, sing, dance and express themselves in a variety of creative ways for young artists, architects and other expressive, creative minds.  There's painting, crafts, building materials and more! There's also opportunity to spend quiet time or catch up with friends.  It's the next best thing to being at home.
The YMCA provides healthy snacks to satisfy the after school munchies.
